Deutsche Asset Management (legacy Bankers Trust), where she was a lawyer/manager to BT's Global Investment Services area (the firm's investment advisory/mutual fund division including their separate accounts and ERISA funds) Management Group's private bank.
Jane also was a Partner at McGuireWoods, LLP, one of the nation's largest law firms, in their financial services practice. In addition to teaching securities law at NYU for several years, Jane has been an expert panelist at numerous legal and compliance conferences. Jane serves on the Board of Directors of Global Grassroots, a non-profit organization that supports social change (including micro-finance) for vulnerable women worldwide.
Saleemah has over 15 years of professional experience in the financial services industry. She was Managing Director, handling legal, compliance and operational matters, at Sterling Stamos Capital Management, a private investment management firm with approximately $7 billion in assets under management that specializes in alternative and multi-asset investment solution.
Prior thereto, Saleemah was the General Counsel for the Global Investments Products group at American Express Bank where she worked on creating and marketing various alternative investment products. She began her career in the securities and M&A practices of the law firm, Shearman & Sterling. She routinely liaised with regulatory entities including the SEC, FINRA, NYSE and state regulators. Saleemah has a J.D./M.B.A from Columbia University, graduating as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a BA from the University of California, San Diego.
